Our investment strategies seek to identify and exploit investment niches that we believe are less understood and generally not followed by the broader investor community. As of April 30, 2013, Kayne Anderson and its affiliates managed assets of approximately $21 billion, including over $18 billion in the Energy Sector (of which over $14 billion was invested in MLPs and Midstream Companies).
